Thomas Cunningham, PhD, is a visionary leader, ordained minister, life coach, author, philanthropist, and serial entrepreneur committed to grassroots community enrichment and personal transformation. A proud native of Memphis, Tennessee, Dr. Cunningham’s life and career have been shaped by his unwavering dedication to service, resilience, and empowerment. As a servant of Christ and devoted father, he draws deeply from his faith and lived experiences to inspire change and build pathways to success for others.
Dr. Cunningham holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Washburn University and a Master’s degree from Southeast Missouri State University. In 2022, he was ordained as a clergy member, and in 2024, he earned his PhD in Theology from Queens College. His academic achievements and spiritual grounding enable him to address complex social issues with compassion, wisdom, and strategic insight.
Having overcome poverty, gang affiliation, and the trauma of growing up in one of Memphis’s most underserved communities, Dr. Cunningham exemplifies confidence, character, and perseverance. His entrepreneurial ventures, philanthropic efforts, and coaching programs are rooted in the belief that sustainable change begins at the grassroots level. He remains deeply committed to equipping others with the tools and support needed to overcome adversity and build meaningful, successful lives.
